How to make a claim for cyclone damage

If you have house insurance with cyclone cover and your house has been damaged in a storm, it’s time to make a claim. Find out how to here.

Cyclone season can be tough for homeowners, which is why house insurance with the optional benefit gale, windstorm, hurricane and cyclone cover, is important to take out before the damage is done.

If you do have house insurance with cyclone cover, and your house has been damaged in a storm, then it’s time to make a claim!

What is a cyclone cover claim?

Making a claim through your insurance provider means that you’re asking for coverage or compensation for the damage caused by the event that you’re covered for.

So in this case, you’ll be claiming compensation for your cyclone damaged home.

Where possible, please remember to take before and after photos of your damaged items and property - this helps us assess the damage.

How do you make a cyclone cover claim?

There are two ways:

  • Online via our online claim form – this is the easiest and quickest way to lodge your claim and get things moving!
  • Or if you need to talk to someone in regard to your claim, you can call us, email newclaims@towerinsurance.com.fj or drop into the branch.
